About Our Center

As part of the Meridian community for more than 55 years, as an independent standalone nonprofit organization, the members own and operate the Center. We are self-governing with an elected Board of Directors who serve strictly as volunteers. The Center is independent of the City of Meridian, and they do not govern or dictate our activities or operation. 

 

We rely on our generous donors, community sponsors, fundraising, grants, membership dues, venue rentals, activities fees, boutique sales, and bingo to fund the Center.

Our Center is dedicated to enriching the lives of all older adults by developing, providing, and promoting a climate of respect, trust, and support. We offer active, healthy, and creative activities, along with opportunities for life enhancement programs to those we serve.
